Snapshots: Christmas Day

Thursday, December 27, 2012

Wow, I cannot believe that the madness of Christmas is over for another year. I hope you all had an absolutely amazing day. I had an fantastic time sharing Christmas with my family and boyfriend for the first time. We managed to keep up with our favourite family traditions, reading The Night Before Christmas and opening stockings in my parent's bed, while (hopefully) not making the French feel too out of place. I feel so lucky that I got to spend the day with the people I love the most.

I must have taken over a hundred photos, but I'm only going to share a couple. It's such a special time of year that I don't want to cheapen it by giving too much away. I will tell you we had a wonderful meal (including the obligatory paper crowns), that the dogs really enjoyed playing with wrapping paper, that stockings are still amazing and that I now have enough Lush stuff to last me till next Christmas.
I hope you are all getting to enjoy some time off, I'm certainly using the lull between Christmas and New Year to spend some quality time catching up on cleaning, eating lots of leftover food and generally being a little bit lazy. I couldn't be happier.

  1. Glad you had a good Christmas! I'm the same with my photos - I'll put a couple in my weekly round up, but I like to keep a certain amount of personal stuff private.
