Spin Me Round

Eep, what is wrong with my skin in that photo? I seriously need some more practice when I try and photoshop myself pretty. Or maybe I should have just let you see my very unhappy skin, possibly it would have made me more 'authentic'. Unfortunately, I'm too vain, and that is why I look absolutely ridiculous in the photo above.

These are the first of my photos from Dundee, I've got another set of bits and pieces I saw while I was there but I wanted to share this outfit first. I borrowed this dress from one of my good friends and honestly, I wish I could have run away with it. The fabric is heavy and hangs really nicely, and who wouldn't fall in love with that colour and print? The label is an old Topshop one, so maybe I can hunt it out on Ebay.

It has been a while since I have had anyone else involved in my outfit photos, even the French has only taken one of the photos I have used here. I didn't realise how much of a different ball game it is - I would not stop talking while they were taking photos and as a result my face looked ridiculous in 90% of them. I really like this bottom one who, I love seeing movement in outfits. I might have to start spinning more often.
By the way, I would like to thank you all for your awesome response to my last post, and to show my appreciation, I've got a little surprise for you tomorrow. Let's just say I'm quite excited.

  1. I do love your dress and the background for your photos is very pretty! Somedays photo editing just annoys me, particularly if I'm not happy how I look in them. Oh well, the pains of style blogging hehe

  2. Okay, I LOVE the color of your hair. It is seriously fantastic! And your dress is pretty, too. I probably would have devised a way to secretly steal it, haha! It's such a great color and pattern!
You know, I've always noticed that I tend to see more flaws in my skin/body than people in the blogging world do. So don't be too afraid to not photoshop yourself (although I totally understand doing it anyway, because I, too, am too vain to post what I consider to be "bad" pictures of myself. ;) )
